What are PSA Upcharges?
PSA works with multiple price ceilings. The initial price cap is $499. This means that the card has a maximum value of $499 after degrees at PSA and will not result in an upcharge. If the value of the slab exceeds the price ceiling, the price of the next level will be charged. The price and ceiling of these scales change regularly.
PSA is not always consistent with this and will regularly return cards of 500 $+ without an upcharge. However, it is smart to assume that this will occur to avoid unexpected costs. If you do not want this upcharge, you will get the card back raw. The initial €24.99 grading costs will still be charged.
